Welcome to VIP Sports, our commitment is to provide comprehensive, aggressive, quality
representation for each client. After providing a fair balanced analysis of our client’s athletic ability, we will maximize all contracts and take advantage of all the benefits provided by the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). We also provide VIP services for our clients. Through VIP’s professional Network, we provide referral services to our clients regarding legal, financial planning, taxes, and insurance matters. We work together in our client’s best interest.

Meet Our Team

PAUL BOBBITT

CO-FOUNDER AND AGENT

Paul Bobbitt is a NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor (Sports Agent). He brings over 30 years of relevant business expertise and experience to the industry. A former Michigan State football player, Paul played strong safety, free safety and cornerback. He was coached by George Perless and Nick Saban during his career at MSU (a three year starter).

 

While his playing career was cut short due to injuries, Paul took the business world by storm and has accumulated multiple awards throughout his career. He was Agent of the year several times over while a financial advisor; he was Representative of the year for 5 consecutive years in the pharmaceutical industry; and Paul received the President’s Award multiple times.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Paul’s education, professional back ground and experience will
help cultivate and prepare athletes for the NFL.

DAVID W. JONES

CO-FOUNDER, AGENT, AND ATTORNEY

David W. Jones has been an NFLPA Certified Contract
Advisor (NFL Agent) since 2014. A practicing attorney for more than 28 years, David is a former Prosecutor, Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan, and has been General Counsel for a major utility, several municipalities, private corporations and many non - profit organizations.

 

David has developed a sterling reputation for his skill and acumen as a legal practitioner, his professional background includes extensive sales and negotiating experience, which consist of negotiating labor disputes, contracts, and collective bargaining agreements.

David has represented clients successfully in trials, arbitrations, negotiations and commercial transactions. As an NFL Contract Advisor, David has negotiated millions of dollars in contracts for h is clients as rookies, free agents and in contract extensions.

 

A Corporation Finance Major at Wayne State University in Detroit. David received his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. His is active in his community and a former NCAA collegiate basketball official.
